The Kent County Amateur Radio Club conducts club programs and activities to advance the general interests and welfare of the Amateur Radio Service in Kent County, Delaware. The club operates two repeaters, conducts an annual Field Day operation, operates Special Events stations, and is very active in transmitter hunting. We participate in numerous community activities, providing communications support not otherwise available to the agencies involved. The KCARC also participates in all state, county, and local communications emergency operations under the direction of the Delaware Emergency Management Agency, through the ARRL Delaware Section Manager and ARRL Division and Section Emergency Coordinators. The KCARC conducts ARRL VEC Volunteer Exam sessions throughout Kent County. |
